IN MAY this year, the Pembrokeshire Craft Makers who each year hold travelling craft exhibitions in many halls throughout the county, tried a new venue, Manorbier Village Hall. The six-day exhibition proved such a huge success, with both local people and visitors enjoying looking at the excellent work on show, that the group are currently holding another exhibition in Manorbier. There is jewellery, turned wood, pictures, silks, hats, rag-dolls, hand-made soaps, papiermache, objets d'art, plus the work of three local potters. All the craftsmen and women live and work in Pembrokeshire. The hall will be open every day until Tuesday, August 17, and admission to view the work is free.
