A trial into the death of a six-month-old baby girl that was killed after being hit by a vehicle at Tenby’s multi-storey car park, has been adjourned until early next year.
The trial of thirty-three-year-old Flaviu Naghi, of Leigh, accused of causing the death of Sophia Kelemen was due to begin at Swansea Crown Court on June 2.
However, the defendant’s solicitor asked for the trial to be adjourned, citing fresh evidence to state that the handbrake had been applied on the vehicle that Naghi is accused of being in control of on the day of the incident on January 2.
Judge Her Honour Catherine Richards KC said that the delay was ‘regrettable to say the least’
The trial was adjourned until January 5, 2026.
