A man has pleaded guilty to unlawful wounding after a stabbing incident at an estate in Tenby this summer, which saw armed police officers in attendance.
Twenty-one-year-old Oliver Dowling of Newell Hill, pleaded guilty to charges of unlawful wounding; threatening with an offensive weapon in a private place – namely a ‘push-dagger knife’ when he appeared via videolink at Swansea Crown Court on September 5. He also admitted to possessing a quantity of cannabis.
The incident occurred at the Hafalanod estate on the seaside town’s Marsh Road back on July 14.
Dowling’s victim was rushed to hospital with stab wounds which were said not to be life-threatening.
Sentencing was adjourned to October for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
