A Tenby man is due to appear in court today, following an incident at an estate in the seaside town on Monday where another male was taken to hospital after being stabbed with a knife.
Twenty-year-old Oliver Dowling of Newell Hill, has been charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding another male with intent to do him grievous bodily harm at the Hafalnod estate.
The twenty-year-old is also charged with possessing a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.
The defendant is also charged wth possessing a quantity of cannabis.
Dowling is due to appear at Havefordwest Magistrates Court this morning (July 17).
Dyfed-Powys Police stated that the defendant was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent following an incident at the housing estate located along Marsh Road.
A police spokesperson stated at the time: “Dyfed-Powys Police received a report of an assault in the Hafalnod estate, on Tenby’s Marsh Road, at around 1.40pm on Monday, July 14.
“One man was taken to hospital after being stabbed with a knife. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
“Officers, including firearms officers, remained at the scene throughout the day whilst they carried out their enquiries.
“A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and remains in police custody.”
