A TEENAGER currently residing in Johnston has been given a six-month conditional discharge after admitting to assault and drunk and disorderly behaviour at Haverfordwest.

Charlie Lynch, of Vine Road, appearing before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, September 1, pleaded guilty to assaulting a male person by beating him at Castle Square, Haverfordwest on May 25.

He also pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place at Castle Square on May 25.

No compensation was ordered, as the court established that there was no loss or damage. Taking his guilty plea into account, the 19-year-old was conditionally discharged and ordered to pay a surcharge of £26.

There was no separate penalty for being disorderly when drunk.
