An 18-year-old from Saundersfoot who pleaded guilty to driving while over the limit for alcohol has been given a community order.
Leonardo Tarnovetchi, of Westfield Road, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on July 15.
On February 17 at Tanners Lane, Templeton, Tarnovetchi had driven a Renault Megane after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his blood, namely 196 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood, exceeded the prescribed limit.
He also pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen for analysis on July 10 at Newport.
The community order includes 165 hours of unpaid work, to be completed within 12 months, and a 30-month driving disqualification, reduced by 30 weeks with course.
