A SAUNDERSFOOT driver has been banned for drink driving at Milton.

Davey Bailey, of Harbour Court, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on April 21.

There, the 52-year-old pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle a public road, Stevens Green at Milton, on April 2 after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath (82 micrograms in 100 millilitres) exceeded the prescribed limit.

The offence carries an obligatory driving ban, and Bailey was disqualified for 21 months, reduced by 21 weeks on completion of a course. He was also fined £600.

Costs of £85 and a surcharge of £240 were added to the fine. The guilty plea was taken into account during sentencing.
