A Pembroke man has been jailed for his ‘flagrant disregard for court orders’.

Appearing in court in Haverfordwest on August 16, Mr Ralph Morgan, of Main Street, admitted failing ‘without reasonable excuse’ to comply with the requirements of a Community Order made by Haverfordwest Magistrates on June 14.

The original offences in respect of which the Community Order was made were assaulting an emergency worker - a Police Constable - and causing damage to a police vehicle cage by spitting, ‘being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged’.

The Community Order was revoked and the 38-year-old was committed to prison for a total of 30 weeks.
