A Narberth pensioner has been jailed again by magistrates after making nuisance calls to the emergency services.
Ann Gately, of Little Chapel Hill, Princes Gate, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on May 24.
The court heard that the 76-year-old breached a criminal behaviour order by making nuisance calls to both police and ambulance on the 999 emergency system in Narberth on 19 April.
Gately was banned from doing so by Haverfordwest magistrates on 8 November 2021 after being convicted of similar offences.
Jailing her for 10 weeks, magistrates said the offences are “so serious that only a custodial sentence can be justified”, because Gately “has a flagrant disregard for court orders.”
