A Pembroke Dock man assaulted a woman by beating her, magistrates heard. 

Richard Wakely, of Llanreath, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on July 22, when he changed his plea to guilty.

Wakely was fined £371; in addition he pays costs of £400, a surcharge of £148 and compensation of £100.

He was also made the subject of a restraining order forbidding most forms of access to the victim, online references to the victim, and entry to her property in Pembroke.
