A man has pleaded guilty in court to causing the death of much-loved local taxi driver Christopher ‘Mukka’ Boyle by dangerous driving.
Thirty-year-old Mateusz Sikorski, a chef residing in the Narberth area (formerly of Manorbier) appeared at Swansea Crown Court on Monday October 7 to admit the charge of causing death by dangerous driving.
The fatal road traffic collision occurred between Tenby and Penally on Monday, September 2, at around 10.15pm.
Sadly fifty-seven-year-old Chris ‘Mukka’ Boyle from Park Avenue, Kilgetty - who fellow cabbies have called ‘one of the best’ and the ‘kindest, funniest, most genuine, helpful’ taxi driver ever - died at the scene on the A4139.

The defendant had previously appeared at Llanelli Magistrates Court on September 5, where he was remanded in custody to appear at Swansea Crown Court.
An application for bail had been granted on September 12 with the conditions that Sikorski resides in the Narberth area, and complies with an 8pm to 8am curfew;
He was also given an interim driving ban, and ordered to report to a police station on a weekly basis.
At the hearing at Crown Court, Sikorski’s bail conditions were renewed and the case was adjourned for sentencing on Friday, November 8.
