A MILFORD Haven man has been sentenced to a 12-month community order, restraining order and alcohol abstinence after admitting to stalking without fear, alarm or distress.
Carl James, of Prioryville, appearing before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, August 18, pleaded guilty to pursuing a course of conduct which amounted to the stalking of a woman at Tiers Cross between July 25 and 28, ’phoning her over 50 times and attending her home address.
The 37-year-old is required to abstain from alcohol for 120 days, with monitoring, and to participate in required activity up to 15 days.
He is forbidden from visiting the victim’s abode, place of work or the street where she lives.
A surcharge of £114 was added to £85 costs.
