A MILFORD Haven man has been made subject to a community order and is required to pay £500 in compensation for causing a fellow townsman actual bodily harm and criminal damage to his television.

Joshua Daines, of Larch Road, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, August 25.

The 26-year-old pleaded guilty to assaulting the man at Milford Haven on October 23, 2024, causing him actual bodily harm and damaging his television “intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.”

The community order, which lasts until February 24, 2028, includes 120 days of alcohol abstinence and up to 20 days’ rehabilitation activity.

A £114 surcharge was added to £85 costs.
