A MAN from the Haverfordwest area used another person’s bank card to obtain goods for himself at two Milford Haven shops.
Mark Hambrook, of Pelcomb Cross, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, May 14.
The 41-year-old pleaded guilty to two charges of committing fraud by false representation. At Milford Haven on April 29, 2025, he had made dishonest representations at both Iceland and Tesco stores that he was authorised to make purchases using the bank card of an individual described in court as a “vulnerable victim”.
Hambrook was sentenced to 16 weeks’ imprisonment, suspended for 12 months. He was also required to pay compensation equivalent to the value of the goods obtained: £239.25 in total, plus CPS costs of £85.
