APPEARING before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on November 24, a 37-year-old man pleaded guilty to drug driving at Carmarthen in August.

Daniel Jones, of Hilda Vale Road, Orpington, admitted to driving a Ford Ranger on the A40 Bancyfelin to Carmarthen on August 18, 2025, when the proportion in his blood of Benzoylecgonine, a controlled drug, exceeded the specified limit.

Jones was disqualified from driving for 20 months, his guilty plea having been taken into account, but the sentence aggravated by a road traffic accident. He was also made subject to a community order, with a 200-hours unpaid work requirement and a maximum of 15 days’ rehabilitation activity as required by the responsible officer.

Costs to Crown Prosecution Service were £85.
