A couple who were rescued by members of Tenby RNLI’s lifeboat crew have made a donation to the charity.

Tenby all-weather lifeboat was requested to launch on August 29, after the Coastguard received a report that two swimmers had been washed onto the rocks near Skrinkle.

Phil and Emma met with station Mechanic Pete this month to present Tenby RNLI with the donation.

A spokesperson for Tenby RNLI shared: “We were recently visited by a couple who we last saw when we rescued them off the rocks after getting into difficulty in the sea near Skrinkle during August last year.

“Whilst at the station, Phil and Emma made a donation to show their gratitude to the crew for their rescue.

“Thanks both from everyone at the station - it is very much appreciated.”
