BBC wildlife presenter and vet Steve Leonard was the guest speaker at an exciting Nature Exchange Day organised by the Pembrokeshire community development organisation, PLANED.

The Nature Exchange Day was at Slebech Park and was a fantastic opportunity for nature groups and organisations across Pembrokeshire to share information about the work they do and find out about the work of others.

There were presentations by Colin Russell, of West Wales Biodiversity Information Centre, and local wildlife expert Peter Brown and a highly entertaining talk by Steve Leonard, who has appeared on a series of BBC TV programmes, including 'Vets in Practice' and 'Hottest Place on Earth'.

The event was organised as part of a PLANED (Pembrokeshire Local Action Network for Enterprise and Development) project to add value to heritage and natural resources in the county under the EU and Welsh Assembly Government funded Rural Development Plan for Wales.
