The South Pembs County Pool team, represented by players of the Narberth League, seem to have turned their season around.

After their first three matches they found themselves in last place in the West Division Two league. Since then they have not lost. Although the bad news is that the team from Maesteg pulled out last month, meaning that the South Pembs side then lost the 23 pts that they picked up, which would have put them 13 pts clear at the top.

However, last month saw them pick up a 22-14 win over Cardigan, with Shaw Povey taking the man of the match with four out of four. Well done as well to the following who won three out of four - Alan Luke, Colin Hallwood and Simon Beynon.

Last Sunday saw them travel to play Neath B, and another good day out saw them pick up a 25-11 win. Man of the match with four wins was Lee Thomas, but well done to Jason Rees, who also won all his games. Players winning three out of four were David Lewis, Jonathan Bowen, and Simon Beynon.
