Last Sunday, the South Pembrokeshire pool team made the long trip to Cardiff, nearly worth their while, but not quite.

After losing the first two sessions, both by 6-3, it looked like a big score was on the way. But the boys pulled a few frames out of the bag and took the next sessions both by 5-4, eventually losing out by 20-16.

Well done to Meirion Rees, who won three out of four. However, voted man of the match for his overall play was Richard Lewis.

The other result saw Vale of Glamorgan beating Caldicot by 19-17, while the Cardigan v St. Clears match was postponed. There is no match in March, so the next fixture is now on April 12 at home to Cardigan.
