Division One

Carew are still top of the table although the visitors Lawrenny held on for a draw with a total of 156-7 in reply to a Carew total of 206-2.

Carew opener Nick Scourfield failed by just one run to hit his second consecutive league century but remained undefeated on 99 after sharing a third wicket partnership of 127 with

Tom Richards who was 45no.

Emergency opener Ben Evans more than did his job in a fine innings of 40.

Simon Wood was the leading wicket taker for Carew with 5-55 but scores of 41 from James Buckle, 28 by Steve Campbell, 26 by Simon Cole and 23 from Robert Williams kept Lawrenny in the game.

Cresselly crashed to a home defeat against Neyland who won by five wickets after Cresselly were dismissed for 143.

Phil Williams with 38 and Julian Arthur with 24 were the only early order batsmen to get amongst the runs and Cresselly were indebted to a last wicket stand of 38 between Morgan Gildoenhuys with 20no and Sam Harts with 20.

It was a good all round bowling and fielding display by the Neyland team who recovered from being 83-5 to reach 147-5 with Gregg Miller scoring 37no and Patrick Bellerby 23no.

Earlier Paul Murray had an attacking innings of 50 with five fours and three sixes.

Morgan Gildoenhuys took 4-38 for Cresselly.

Herbrandston were bowled out for 174 away to Saundersfoot after good knocks of 79 from Nathan Banner and 33 from Leigh Marchant.

David Blackwell took 4-47 and Nick Cope 3-54 for Saundersfoot who were bowled out for 160 in reply as Paul Hood took 4-56 and Kristan Bennett 4-43.

Middle order batsmen Simon Stanford with 46 and Yannick Parker with 39 were the main contributors to the Saundersfoot total.

A depleted Narberth team did well to win by five wickets away to Haverfordwest after the home team scored 196-4.

Karl Rhead scored 111 with 12 fours and three sixes before being caught by Ian Hughes to give youngster Jordan Howell his first wicket in Division One on his debut for the first team.

The other main contributor to the Haverfordwest total was David Davies with 36.

Andrew Williams (44), Joel Davies (41) and skipper Richard Adams (30) were the pick of the Narberth batsmen.

St Ishmaels scored 191-9 away to Whitland with skipper Jonathan Pawlett celebrating his return from injury with a top score of 53 supported by Daniel Flynn with 44 and Andrew Williams with 41.

David Lee took 3-11 and then joined Edward John in an opening stand of 170.

John was dismissed for 74 but Lee was undefeated at the end of the innings with 84no as Whitland won by eight wickets.

Division Two

Cresselly Seconds won by 116 runs away to Johnston after reaching a total of 226-7 with consistent batting from Scott Arthur (62), Sion Jenkins (32) and skipper Rhydian Rees (28).

Steve Mills took 3-46 for the Johnston team but apart from John Summons who tried to cement things together with 45, wickets fell at regular intervals as Huw Evans took 3-31 and Matthew Lewis 3-4.

Whitland Seconds were bowled out for 132 away to Llanrhian as Andrew Jenkins took 6-35.

Owain Evans with 29 and James Davies with 26 were the leading scorers for the visitors but the Whitland bowlers made little impact as Llanrhian won by eight wickets with Ben Jones scoring 49no and Geraint Morris together with Jack Jones both scoring 33.

Haverfordwest Seconds scored 239-4 away to Pembroke with Simon Holliday scoring 138no and the experienced Andrew Phillips 40.

Holliday was the leading Harfat bowler with 4-37 as Pembroke were dismissed for 181 despite the efforts of Perry Phillips with 35 and Rob Weston with 34.

An innings of 100no by Tom Blaxland set up a Hook total of 198-7 supported by Jamie Phelps with 52 at home to Carew.

Luke Hicks took 3-29 for the visitors who salvaged a draw on 145-9.

Jamie Phelps opened the bowling and took 5-35 but knocks of 44 from James Hinchcliffe, 21 from young Tom Scourfield and 19no by Luke Hicks took the visitors to safety on 145-9.

Division Three

Leaders Pembroke Dock won by two wickets in an exciting game away to Crymych who were bowled out for 112 as Jamie White took 4-38 and David Dunfee 3-24.

Elgan Vittle with 28 and David Deardon with 21 were the leading scorers for the Preseli men.

Spinner Rob Nicholas with 5-23 came close to spoiling the party for the Dock who eventually scrambled home on 113-8 as skipper Nick Daley scored 30 along with David Dunfee who also scored 30.

Pembroke Dock will have to play without influential all rounder David Dunfee for the rest of the season as he has decided to transfer to Whitland.

Lamphey moved up to third place with a five wickets win away to Fishguard after dismissing the team for 125 as left arm spinner Andrew Skeels took 7-30.

Rhys Dalling with 55 and Ben Watson with 26 were the leading scorers for Fishguard.

In reply, Lamphey reached 126-5 as Nic Johnson scored 43 with six fours and two sixes and James Skeels continued to confirm his promise with 43no.

Haverfordwest Thirds scored 219-8 at home to Hundleton after Jamie Jenkins played his shots to reach 73no supported by Jasper Holmes with 44.

Two experienced cricketers, Chris Stapleton with 4-36 and Jonathan Williams with 3-73 took the wickets for the visitors who held on for a draw at 150-4.

Morgan Allen scored 73 and Liam Williams 22.

Mike Johns had a rare first ball dismissal and Narberth Seconds were in trouble at 62-4.

However Aron Keane scored 42 from 16 balls and Mike Williams hit the bowling to all parts in his innings of 60 supported by teenager Owen Richards with 27 and Narberth Seconds got to 208-9 at home to Stackpole.

The visitors won by four wickets with five balls of the match remaining as John Williams scored 56, Richard MacKay 34no, Richard Gibby 34 and Josh Davies 28.

Gary Hughes took five of the wickets to fall.

Division Four

In the top of the table clash at Kilgetty, the home team rattled up a score of 223-2 after a second wicket partnership of 145 between Gareth Edwards (87) and skipper Steve Flook (94no).

In addition Grant James chipped in with 22no.

In reply, Carew Thirds reached 191-5 with Adam Hughes hitting 11 fours in his innings of 83, skipper Wesley Cole scoring 49 and Mark Hicks 27no.

Lawrenny Seconds reached 140-7 at home to Hook Seconds who were bowled out in reply for 96.

For the Lawrenny team, opener John Fuller scored 58 with ten fours as Josh Wicks took 4-41 for the visitors.

Good bowling by John Fuller and Willie Morris who both took 3-28 resulted in Hook Seconds being dismissed for 96 after David Petrie scored 44 and Nick Hughes 20.

Pembroke Seconds were bowled out for 67 away to Neyland Seconds as Gareth Virgo ripped through the batting line up in a 7-16 spell.

Jonathan Rogers top scored for the visitors with 20 and then Virgo continued his man of the match performance by scoring 33no in a Neyland Seconds reply of 68-1.

Division Five

Leaders Cresselly Thirds had a five wickets win away to Narberth Thirds at Llanddewi Velfrey after dismissing the home team for 46.

Philip James took 4-9 and teenager Edward James 4-5.

Tim Mills caused problems for the Cresselly batsmen in a 4-16 spell but the visitors reached 48-5 with Steve Davies 15no.

St Florence had an eight wickets win at home to Saundersfoot Seconds who were restricted to 124-4 as Sam Butler scored 40no and Paul Morris 28.

In reply, Ben McDonnell with a hard hitting 43no, Peter Hall with 33no and Ashley Smith with 30 took St Florence to 127-2 in reply.

Whitland Thirds were bowled out for 54 away to Herbrandston Seconds as Alan McLleland took 5-27 and Paul Nicholas 4-3.

Although Whitland skipper Gwynne Phillips took 3-15, Alan McLleland with 20 took the Herbie team to a total of 55-3.

Division Six

St Clears increased their lead at the top of the table with a big win away to Stackpole Seconds who were bowled out for 96 chasing a Saints' total of 206-6.

For the visitors, Martin Thomas scored 48, Alun Thomas 37 and Anthony Wray 31. James Roberts had the bulk of the wickets in a 4-73 return.

Dion John did the damage with the ball for St Clears with 5-25 as Daniel James top scored for the Stackpole team with 34, as the home team were bowled out for 96.

Burton Thirds were bowled out for 102 away to Hundleton Seconds. Graham Jenkins scored 30 as Stuart McNiffe took 3-22.

In reply, Hundleton Seconds reached 104-2 to win by eight wickets with Paul Edwards 68no.

Pembroke Dock Seconds reached 171-4 at home to Fishguard Seconds with Chris Boyett 78no, Luke Murray 41no and James Olyott supporting with 21.

Sean Delaney took 4-24 for the visitors who won by seven wickets with a total of 174-3.

It was the result of excellent batting by Darren John with 60, John de Groot with 47 and Sean O'Connor 29no.
