Division One

Cresselly have regained top of the table spot with an eight wickets win away to St. Ishmaels who were held to 192-7.

Stewart Kimpton scored 73 for Tish supported by Andrew Williams with 32 and Peter Bradshaw with 31.

Spinner James Venables did the damage for the visitors with 5-54. After tea, Julian Arthur with 69 and Phil Williams with 87 had an opening stand of 136 and Adam Chandler was undefeated on 21 at the end of the game.

Second place Carew had the better of a drawn match at Narberth after reaching 106-6 thanks to Brian Hall with 45 and Tom Richards with 29.

Narberth held out for a draw on 126-9, with skipper Richard Adams scoring 34 and Kyle Quartermaine 27.

All-rounder Tim Hicks took 4-33 for Carew.

Third placed Haverfordwest had a four wickets win away to Whitland who set a challenging total of 205-7, courtesy of a first wicket partnership of 108 by Edward John and Dave Lee who both scored 54.

Lee fell to a brilliant leg-side stumping by Huw Scriven off the bowling of Phil Kirkby.

Paul Davies chipped in with 28 and Kevin Pearce with 20 as Kirkby finished with 3-50 for the visitors.

Consistent batting by Harfat took them to a total of 207-6, with Dan Field scoring 38, Phil Kirkby 37no, David Davies 30, Karl Rhead 27 and Adam James 24no.

Daniel James picked up 3-28.

Saundersfoot slipped down the table after losing by five wickets away to Neyland who scored 106-5 in reply to a Saundersfoot total of 103-9.

Yannick Parker top scored for the visitors on 24 and Richard Cope scored 23.

Patrick Hannon took 3-23 and Nicholas Koomen took 3-8 in a hat-trick with all his victims being bowled!

Paul Murray led the Neyland victory bid with 27 as Nick Cope took 3-27 for Saundersfoot.

Herbrandston were bowled out for 136 at Lawrenny after Nathan Banner scored 37 and Leigh Marchant 32.

Spinner Ian Jenkins took 5-26 and Robert Williams 3-41 for the Lawrenny team who could only reach 124 before being dismissed in reply.

Steve Lewis top scored on 25 and Robert Williams kept his wicket intact on 20, but good bowling by Nathan Banner who took 5-24 and Kristan Bennett with 4-39 ensured that wickets fell at regular intervals.

Division Two

Carew Seconds held on to second spot with a seven wickets win at home to Whitland Seconds who recovered from 86-6 to reach 172-8.

Lower order batsmen Nico Setaro scored 52no and Owen Edwards 42 for the visitors as Tom Davies took 4-32.

Simon Wood returned to form with 84no when the Carew team replied and had a second wicket partnership of 105 with James Hinchcliffe who played the ideal supporting innings with 44 after Christian Phillips had been dismissed for 23.

Cresselly Seconds scored 197 before being dismissed at home to Hook after a remarkable eighth wicket partnership of 108 from Jack Murphy who scored 96 with 17 fours and Huw Evans with 31.

Unable to bowl because of injury, Murphy showed his batting talents in a top quality innings as Chris Holder took five wickets for the visitors.

In reply, Hook held out at 151-8 after Tom Blaxland scored 37 and William Gronwy 26no.

Huw Evans took 3-25.

Pembroke's miserable start to the season continued with an 82 runs defeat at home to Johnston who were bowled out for 182.

Ian Phillips scored 44 of the runs supported by Steve Jenkins with 23no and Lee Walters with 22.

Sean Powell and Gwyn Griffiths each picked up three wickets for the Pembroke team who were dismissed for a disappointing total of exactly 100.

Perry Phillips was 30no and the consistent Paul White scored 26.

Gary James and Steve Mills each picked-up three scalps for the Johnston team.

In other matches, Haverfordwest lost by 128 runs at home to Llangwm and Llanrhian had the better of a drawn game at Burton who scored 179-9 in reply to a Llanrhian total of 241-4.

Division Three

Leaders Pembroke Dock continued their impressive form with an eight wickets win at home to Haverfordwest Seconds who were bowled out for 141, despite the efforts of James Morris who hit fours 6s and six 4s in his innings of 52 and John Tooze with 21.

All-rounder David Dunfee took 4-26 for the Dock, with Neil Hallett and skipper Nick Daley each picking-up three wickets.

Jacob Davies with 65 including ten fours and Luc Barford with 43no from 26 balls took the Dock to a total of 147-2 and Glyn Griffiths scored 26.

Lamphey had a big score of 150-5 away to Hundleton who held on to finish with a total of 130-6.

Lamphey skipper Rob Mathias scored 79 and had good support from his vice-captain Nick Shelmerdine, with 65 and from James Skeels with 29 and Peter McGilloway with 26.

Middle order batsmen Scott Richards with 33 and Mark Williams with 27 kept the Lamphey bowlers at bay to save the match for the Hundleton team.

Opener Terry Broadhurst also had a useful innings of 20.

Narberth Seconds travelled to Johnston where Johnston Seconds reached 179-5 after steady batting from Shaun Jones with 49no, Richard James with 44no and Mark Morgan with 43.

Sam Mills with 48 and opener Mike Johns, with a steadfast innings of 40, were the main contributors to the Narberth total of 155-7 in reply and Mike Williams had an aggressive innings of 36 from 25 deliveries.

Division Four

Carew Thirds have taken over pole position following a seven wickets win at home to Camrose and Spittal who were restricted to 140-9 with both Rupert Norman and David Crane scoring 29.

Shaun Whitfield took 4-25 for the Carew team who reached 141-3 in reply. David Rees top scored on 32, Haydn Shapcott chipped in with 27, Joe Kidney scored 25 and Chris Cole 20no.

Kilgetty had their second win of the season after bowling out the visitors St Ishmaels for128 despite the efforts of Robert Cockburn with 40 and Michael Cockburn with 34.

Kilgetty skipper Anthony Bevan took 4-7 and then Richard Gwyther with 34no and Mike Beynon with 27 took the Kilgetty team to a total of 130-6, with support from Jake Marsh who scored 20.

Ryan Rees took 3-13 and David Salter 3-22 for the visitors.

Lawrenny Seconds had a six wickets win away to Llangwm Seconds after dismissing the home team for 131.

Jonathan Brock and Rhys Morgan both scored 33 and Paul Morgan scored 20 with two 6s.

Jamie Lewis was the pick of the Lawrenny bowlers with a return of 4-30.

Most of the runs in a Lawrenny total of 135-4 came from boundaries as Jamie Lewis capped a fine match with 30no and earlier, John Fuller scored 29, Jonathan Beff 27 and Chris Buckle 22.

Pembroke Seconds had a respectable total of 150-9 away to Hook Seconds. Chris Thomas had the major innings with his knock of 51 as Alan Millichip took 3-23 for the Hook team.

In reply, Hook Seconds scored 153-3 after Gareth Herberg scored 32 and Sean Jenkins 23.

Division Five

Leaders Cresselly Thirds strengthened their grip at the top of the table after being awarded 30 points as the visitors Llangwm Thirds conceded the match.

St. Florence remain in second position with a 10 wickets win away to Whitland Thirds who were bowled out for 47.

Skipper Gwynne Phillips scored 20, but the other batsmen had no answers to the questions posed by Neil Powling with 6-19 and Lee Tucker with 3-2.

Ashley Smith scored 29 in the Saints' reply of 48 without loss.

Narberth Thirds had an even easier win away to Herbrandston Seconds who were bundled out for 18 as Alun Phillips took 7-5 and Brynley Toms 3-5.

Although the visitors lost one wicket, a winning total of 21-1 was soon reached.

Over 400 runs were scored at Saundersfoot where Burton Seconds won by three wickets after the home team had posted a total of 206-2.

Opener Simon Stanford in his first knock of the season scored a breathtaking innings of 121no, with five 6s and 11 4s and enjoyed a productive opening stand of 115 with Chris Hawkes who scored 41.

Paul Brooks maintained the momentum with 26.

In the Saundersfoot reply, Gareth Bevan had a free scoring innings of 45, David Lewis hit seven 4s and a six in his knock of 40 and Jack Davies scored 35.

Chris Parker picked-up three wickets for the Saundersfoot team.

Division Six

St. Clears increased their lead at the top of the table with their fourth win on the trot, this time away to Burton Thirds and by the huge margin of 196 runs.

Skipper Andrew Edwards scored 67, including four 6s and nine 4s, Dion Williams scored 62 and James Ingleton 37no in a St. Clears' total of 259-4.

The Burton team were bowled out for just 63 in reply, with Alun Thomas taking 4-20.

Pembroke Dock Seconds had a nine wickets win away to Crymych Seconds after bowling out the home team for 53 as Luke Murray took 5-24.

Steve Alford scored 25 as the Dock team won by nine wickets.

Camrose and Spittal Seconds totalled 156-7 home to Hundleton Seconds for whom Stewart McNiffe took 3-36.

Ricky Thomas was undefeated with 38no and Joni Tomas scored 25no.

The visitors were bowled out for 109 in reply as Steve Ateyo took 6-16. Steve Eagles with 26 and David Lockyer with 20 were the main run scorers for the visitors.

Lamphey Seconds lost by seven wickets at home to Llanrhian Thirds after being bowled out for 42.
