Division One

In a low scoring match at Narberth, the visitors Carew were held to a total of 104-9 and would have scored far less had it not been for a gritty innings of 41 by Nick Scourfield.

Kyle Quartermaine took 3-24 for Narberth and Tom Fox 3-45 on his debut.

Narberth were saved from defeat by Wayne Howells with 30no and Matthew Johns with 17no as the pair took the total to 74-6.

Cresselly won by seven wickets at home to Hook, who were bowled out for 123 as Stefan Jenkins took 5-37. Mick Haltam and Martyn Rees both scored 24 for the visitors.

Cresselly scored 124-3 in reply, with skipper Simon Cole and opener Phil Williams both scoring 34.

With 11 players unavailable, Lawrenny called upon the services of a number of retired players for their first and second teams.

The first team travelled to St. Ishmaels and reached a total of 166-5, with Ian Jenkins 50no and his son opener Brad McDermott Jenkins scoring 31.

Stewart Kimpton took 3-26 for Tish, who won by eight wickets on reaching 167-2. Andrew Williams led the victory bid with 61, backed up by Jonathan Pawlett with 39no, skipper Peter Bradshaw with 36 and Stewart Kimpton with 22no.

At Neyland, the visitors Llangwm reached 107-8, out of which Chris Inward scored 24. Neyland skipper Andrew Miller continued his good form by taking 4-27 and then helped save the day with 43no in a Neyland total of 89-9. Chris Inward followed up his bowling to take 4-27.

Haverfordwest totalled 199-7 at home to Whitland, with David Davies scoring 60, Phil Kirkby 47 and Danny Potter 37. Skipper Mark Lee took 3-37 for the visitors and then helped to hold things together with 29no in a Whitland total of 127-8.

Division Two

Saundersfoot won by nine wickets at Pembroke after dismissing the home side for 51. Yannick Parker took 5-15 and Dan Trowers 3-11.

Danny Caine with 26no and Sam Butler put on 46 for the first wicket in a Saundersfoot total of 52-1.

Cresselly Seconds crashed to defeat at Herbrandston after being bowled out for 53 in reply to a Herbie total of 150-9. Nathan Banner scored 40 and Leigh Marchant 33 as skipper Richard Arthur took 3-26 for the visitors.

Three wickets apiece by Nathan Banner and Dean John destroyed the Cresselly batting.

In an exciting game at Carew, visitors Haverfordwest Seconds were dismissed for 111 after John Tooze scored 30no and Jasper Holmes 28.

Darren Thomas took 4-33 for the Carew team and then played a big part in the win with his innings of 33 as Simon Williams took 5 -25 for the visitors.

Division Three

In the local derby at Whitland, Narberth Seconds skipper Andrew Williams scored 53 out of his team's total of 123-9 as Daniel James took 4-16.

In reply, Whitland reached 126-6 to win by four wickets, with Meyrick Rowlands 53no.

Hundleton were bowled out for 87 at home to St. Ishmaels Seconds as Lenny Rees took 4-29 and Gareth Cheshire 3-14. Mark Williams top scored for Hundleton with 26.

In reply, the Tish team scored 88-1, with Robert Cockburn scoring 39 and Philip Cockburn 39no.

Pembroke Dock were bowled out for 91 in reply to a Llanrhian total of 141-4.

David Dunfee was in the wickets again with 3-10, but a 7-37 spell by David Hamilton ripped through the Dock batting line, despite the efforts of Julian Edwards with 22.

Geraint Morris scored 35 for the visitors.

Consistent batting took Lamphey to a total of 182-6 away to Llechryd. Opener Robert Mathias scored 55, Nic Johnson 30, Nick Shelmerdine 29 and skipper Jason Oatley scored 25 before retiring hurt.

Adam Maehrlein took three wickets for Llechryd who were restricted to 150-7 in reply.

Kevin Evans scored 48 to add to the two wickets he had taken and Lamphey spinner Hywel Gibbs took 4-40.

Division Four

A terrific innings of 82 by Rob Beynon, including six 6s and four 4s, set up a Kilgetty total of 183-9 at home to Burton Seconds. He was supported by Anthony Bevan with 29no and opener Steve Flook with 28.

Steve Jones took 4-38 for the visitors, who reached 136-7 in reply after Andrew Cromwell scored 49 and Neville Davies 29.

Anthony Bevan took 3-24 for Kilgetty.

Lawrenny Seconds won by seven wickets at home to Haverfordwest Thirds after dismissing the visitors for 85. Steve Campbell showed his all-round qualities by taking 4-27 as Paul Jenkins top scored for the Haverfordwest team with 23.

Campbell then scored 28 to support an innings of 30no by John Fuller to take Lawrenny Seconds to a total of 89-3.

Luke Butler with 40no and Jonathan Rogers with 33 took Pembroke Seconds to a total of 124-6 at Hook, for whom David Petrie took 3-14.

Hook Seconds won by nine wickets with Nigel Badham 68no and Sam Rossiter 38no.

Division Five

Carew Thirds had a nine wickets win at St. Florence after holding the home team to 74-9. Steve Wilkins was the leading scorer with 31 as Luke Hicks took 4-39 for the visitors.

James Hinchcliffe with 42no set up the Carew Thirds total of 75-1.

Whitland Thirds won by five wickets at home to Llangwm Thirds after bowling out the visitors for 88. Filgi scored 45 of the runs as Ashley Evans took 3-41.

Owain Evans with 33 and Peter Wright with 28 were the leading scorers in a Whitland total of 90-5.

Saundersfoot Seconds had a big win at home to Llechryd Seconds, who were bowled out for 75 as Grant Hardy took 5-28 and Richard Cope 3-13.

Chris Hawkes with 41no and Mike Franklin with 26no had an unbroken first wicket partnership to win the match.

Llanrhian Seconds scored 134-9 at home to Cresselly Thirds following knocks of 73 by R. V. Jones and 37 by Richard Reed.

The experienced Steve Davies took 5-35 and then Richard Lewis top scored with 35 in a Cresselly total of 100 all out.

Division Six

Narberth Thirds lost by four wickets away to Crymych Seconds in a low scoring match after being bundled out for 57. Teenager Charlie Howell took 4-18 and 15-year-old Bleddyn Williams 3-13.

Crymych were well placed at 48 without loss, but lost six wickets before reaching a winning total of 58-6 after 14-year-old Iwan Bowen Rees took 4-3. Opener Dyfed Sion scored 22 for the Crymych team in a match sponsored by Mansel Young, of Young Bros, Llandissilio.

Excellent bowling by Daniel Heaps with 4-9, John Hay with 3-16 and Billy Wood with 3-16 enabled Pembroke Dock Seconds to dismiss Llanrhian Thirds for 40.

The visitors won by seven wickets upon reaching 41-7. Most of the Dock wickets were taken by Matthew Harries with 6-4.

Iwan Cunningham scored 82no for Haverfordwest Fourths in a total of 132-8 at home to Hundleton Seconds, for whom David Manning took 3-30.

It was not enough to prevent the visitors from winning, however, as Steve Williams reached 61no to give Hundleton Seconds a four wickets win.

Division One

Haverfordwest have increased their lead at the top of the table to 17 points following their seven wickets win away to Carew in a top of the table clash.

Carew had scored 185-6 courtesy of a fine innings of 94 by Nick Scourfield which ended when he was caught on the boundary by Mikey Jones off the bowling of Adam James and Brian Hall scored 33 in support.

Opener Karl Rhead with 67, backed up by Mikey Jones with 45no and Stephen Phillips with 32 got the runs for the Town.

Lawrenny won by seven wickets at home to Whitland who scored 137-9 after knocks of 34 by Mark Lee and 28 by Kevin Pearce.

Alastair Edwards took 3-37 and then James Buckle with 41, Steve Lewis with 32 and Brad McDermott Jenkins with 30 had the bulk of the runs in a winning total of 138-3.

Cresselly had the better of a drawn match at St. Ishmaels after reaching 187-5. Julian Arthur came back to form with an innings of 60 and Adam Chandler scored 51no.

Spinner Ryan Lewis took 5-44 and the Tish batsmen failed to get on top of the Cresselly bowlers. Andrew Williams top scored with 39.

Hook lost by 12 runs at home to Neyland after the visitors had scored 148-9. Scott John continued his good form with 58 and also took 4-21, backed up by skipper Andrew Miller with 3-16 as Hook were bowled out for 136, despite the efforts of Ross Martin with 54 and Jamie Phelps with 34.

Wayne Howells with 40 and Kyle Quartermaine with 30, supported by Mike Scale with 27, set up what proved to be a winning total of 166-9 for Narberth at Llangwm.

Richard Brock took 3-44 for the home team, who collapsed from 104-3 to be 107 all out. Joseph Kiff scored 35 as spinner Matthew Johns took 5-5 in six tight overs.

Division Two

Saundersfoot have moved up to second place in the table three points behind the leaders Herbrandston after an eight wickets win at home to Johnston who were bowled out for 148.

Gary James scored 37 for the visitors as Yannick Parker took 3-36 and David Parcell 3-23.

Dan Trowers with 40no, including a winning six to gain the extra bonus point, supported by Steve Cook with 36no and Sam Butler with 44, were instrumental in Saundersfoot reaching 153-2.

Carew Seconds had a nine wickets win away to Pembroke, who were bowled out for 77 as their disappointing season continued.

Tom Davies took 4-18 and Matthew Phillips 3-24.

Barry Evans with 38no and Tom Davies with 21 helped the visitors reach 79-1.

Cresselly Seconds scored a mammoth 224-2 at home to Burton after a brilliant innings of 129no by Scott Arthur with four 6s and 14 fours. He had support from Nick Davies with 51 and Andrew Harries with 45.

Although Mike Venables scored 59no and James Scale 24, the visitors were held to a total of 141-5.

Division Three

Lamphey regained the leadership of the table with a comfortable win over the visitors Camrose and Spittal, who were bowled out for 53 in reply to Lamphey total of 182 all out.

Lamphey were struggling at 69-7, but recovered thanks to a swashbuckling innings of 49 by Giuseppe Tremarco, supported by opener Nic Johnson with 34. Rob John caused the Lamphey problems with 4-32.

Lamphey spinner Andrew Skeels with 5-18 and Hywel Gibbs with 4-16 took the wickets for the home team.

Pembroke Dock were dismissed for 137 away to Crymych after another fine innings by David Dunfee with 54.

Murray Briggs took 4-24 for Crymych, who won by seven wickets following an innings of 49 by Osian Wyn and 34no by his brother Rhydian in tandem with Eurig Lewis on 20no.

At Llanrhian, the visitors Hundleton reached 135-6 in reply to a Llanrhian total of 142 all out. Matthew Bennett with 31 and Luke Jones with 25 had most of the runs for Llanrhian as Jon Williams took 6-26.

Williams was also 59 not out for the visitors as Chris Cousens took 3-27.

Whitland Seconds won by 12 runs at home to Llechryd, who were dismissed for 136 in reply to a Whitland total of 148 all out.

Shane Morgan scored 53 for the Whitland team as Malcolm McHugh took 3-27 for Llechryd.

Skipper Graham Keen was the pick of the Llechryd batsmen with 57 as Meyrick Rowlands took 5-20 for Whitland Seconds.

Aron Keane with 56, backed up by Kyle Keane with 25 and Andrew Williams with 24, helped Narberth reach 152-9 at home to St. Ishmaels Seconds, for whom Robbie Thomas took 4-42.

Gareth Cheshire with 29no and Robert Cockburn with 25 enabled the visitors to draw the match on 119-5.

Division Four

Pembroke Seconds won by four wickets away to Herbrandston Seconds, who were bowled out for 133 despite an innings of 83 by Alan McClelland.

Paul Rogers took 8-43 for the visitors and then scored 45 in support of an innings of 63 by Hugh Davies in the Pembroke total of 137-6. Johnny Lewis took 3-29 for Herbie.

Kilgetty were bowled out for 133 away to Johnston Seconds as Steve James took 4-16 and Andrew Page 4-32. Richard Gwyther scored 34 and Jake Marsh 25 for the visitors.

Steve James with 52 and Gary Stephens with 44 steered the Johnston team to a seven wickets win, although Kilgetty skipper Richard Gwyther took 3-11 in three late overs.

Lawrenny Seconds scored 191-8 away to Neyland Seconds following knocks of 88 by Chris Buckle and 23 by Ceri Jones backed up 36 extras.

Gareth Virgo had a good match for Neyland Seconds, taking 5-41 and then scoring 53no in the Neyland total of 138-6.

Steve Campbell took 3-39 for the Lawrenny team.

Division Five

Joe Kidney with 47 and Haydn Shapcott with 26 helped Carew Thirds reach 154-7 to draw the match away to Llangwm Thirds, who had 186-9.

Lyn Rees scored 82no for the Llangwm team, supported by David Lewis with 53.

Kerry Waters took 5-22 for the visitors.

Llanrhian Seconds had a seven wickets win away to Whitland Thirds, who were dismissed for 88 following returns of 6-43 by Rhodri Owen and 3-17 by Anthony John.

Peter Wright with 25 and Gwyn Phillips with 24no scored the bulk of the Whitland runs.

Camrose and Spittal Seconds were dismissed for 65 at home to Saundersfoot Seconds as Grant Hardy took 4-6 and Mark Steward 4-13.

Earlier, Chris Hawkes with 51 and Mike Franklin with 36no took the visitors to 131-5 as Gelly James took 3-18.

Llechryd Seconds recovered from being 12-5 to reach 78 before being bowled out at home to St. Florence, for whom Ben McDonnell took 8-14. John Lumb top scored for the home team with 21.

St. Florence slumped from 38 without loss to be bowled out for 77, just one run short of the Llechryd total. Jonathan Edwards scored 25 as Sion Hughes took 3-22 and Michael Carter 3-4.

Division Six

Crymych Seconds were bowled out for 105 away to Pembroke Dock Seconds as Steve Alford took 5-12 and Andrew Boyett 4-24.

Nitai Durey scored 40 for the visitors and then took 6-39, but the Dock team won by one wicket. Jamie Hyatt top scored with 32.

Paul Edwards reached 75 not out in a Hundleton Seconds total of 154-7 at home to Fishguard Second, who were held to 107-8 in reply. David Pratt took 3-27 for the home team.
