Division One   Haverfordwest have taken over the leadership of Division One from Neyland who slipped down into fourth place following their defeat at Lawrenny. Excellent bowling and fielding by the Lawrenny team resulted in the visitors being dismissed for just 60 with Paul Murray top scoring on 17 supported by Scott John on 13. Simon Cole took 3 for 9, James Buckle 3 for 11 and Robert Williams 3 for 22. Lawrenny wasted little time in achieving an eight wickets win in the 17th over with Andrew Cole 30 not out supported by Simon Cole with 15. Patrick Hannon took both wickets to fall at a cost of 29 runs. Cresselly were away to Haverfordwest and the visitors amassed a total of 122 for 8.  Phil Williams continued his good form with 33 and Andrew Harris scored 17. Town skipper Nick Dyer took 6 for 18 in 12 overs and the other off spinner Clive Tucker took 2 for 40. Haverfordwest were made to struggle for the runs, but eventually won by three wickets with just three balls remaining.  Phil Kirkby scored 27, Danny Potter 24, Stephen Phillips 21 and Richard James 18. Three Cresselly bowlers picked up a brace of wickets with spinner Ryan Lewis taking 2 for 19, Richard Harris 2 for 26 and spinner Simon Cole 2 for 28. Inconsistent Llangwm produced the goods against Cresselly and also rose to the occasion at home to Carew on Saturday. Llangwm batted first and scored 166 for 9. William Beresford hit five fours in his innings of 47 and he was backed up by a solid knock of 24 from Jonathan Twigg and a brisk innings of 21 from Darren Brick with Chris Inward 20 not out at the end. Rhys Davies took 4 for 25 and spinner John Canton 3 for 32. Chasing the total Carew slipped from 61 for one to 73 to for 4 and were put on the back foot to save the day. Nick Scourfield had a patient innings of 34 and he was joined in a second wicket partnership of 54 with John Canton who scored 22 before three quick wickets fell. Barry Evans scored 18, Simon Wood 16 and Rhys Davies 15 not out. Darren Brick was the pick of the Llangwm bowlers and took 3 for 25. Defending champions, St. Ishmaels, have moved up into second place with a four wickets win over Burton after the visitors had been bowled out for 110. James Scale scored 37 and Richard Hayman 27 as Andrew Palmer took 4 for 25, Andrew Williams 2 for 22 and Stewart Kimpton 2 for 23. Tish reached 111 for 4 in the 31st over. Stewart Kimpton and Andrew Williams had good all round matches with Kimpton scoring 31 and Williams 25 not out. Earlier, Jonathan Pawlett scored 22 and James Salter was 15 not out. Eighteen wickets fell at Narberth in the local derby with Whitland as the bowlers and fielders were on top throughout the day. After a decent start Whitland lost a number of quick wickets and were relieved to end up with 141 for 9. Six of the Whitland team were 18 and under. It was a more experienced player Paul Webb who held the middle order together with 45 before giving a return catch to Ben Hughes. Opener David Lee scored 22 and Daniel Newton 14. Wicket keeper Dafydd Evans picked up a useful 10 not out to boost the total. Left arm spinner Ian Hughes took 3 for 27, his cousin Ben 3 for 34 and Ben Quartermaine 2 for 20. Dogged resistance by the lower order of batsmen resulted in Narberth clinging on at 90 for 9. Richard Adams opened the innings and knuckled down to play captain's innings of 27 from 72 deliveries and Ben Quartermaine held the lower order together with his innings of 21 not out from 68 deliveries. He used up 12.1 overs in an eighth wicket partnership with Richard Howell who scored 12 and then played out the last three-and-a-half overs with wicket keeper Tom Bevan. For Whitland, skipper Mark Lee took 3 for 12, Iestyn Scourfield 2 for 7 and Raff Williams 2 for 28.   Division Two   Saundersfoot have slipped down to third place with Hook taking over the leadership after Saundersfoot lost to Fishguard by six wickets. Paul Mansbridge scored 30, Ian Poole 21 not out and James Caine 16, but the trio lacked the necessary support and Saundersfoot were dismissed for 106 as Rob Couzens took 5 for 30 and Paul Davies 4 for 26. Fishguard reached a total of 108 for 4 in the 31st over with Nigel Morgan 38 not out and his son Mathew 25 not out after opener David Haynes had scored 30. Kevin Sykes took 3 for 27 for Saundersfoot. Pembroke had a convincing win by 83 runs away to Llechryd who were dismissed for 76 in reply to a Pembroke total of 159 all out. Jeremy Smith yet again proved to be an asset to his new club with a fine innings of 64 before he was bowled by Ollie Roberts. He had support from Perry Phillips with 26 and Daniel Scourfield with 22, including two big sixes. Adam Maehrlein took 4 for 38, Ollie Roberts 3 for 48 and Kevin Evans 2 for 30. After being 64 for 4, Llechryd lost their last six wickets for just 12 runs with Sean Powell taking 4 for 9, Nigel Phillips 2 for 8 and Perry Phillips 2 for 12. Llechryd skipper Steve Smith was the main scorer for his team with 28. Hook reached a total of 186 for seven away to Carew Seconds. Ross Martin had a commanding innings of 83 with three sixes and five fours, supported by Mathew Rowlands with 90. Darren Thomas took 2 for 30 and Nick Cope 2 for 54. Carew were struggling at 65 for 6, but were kept in the game through a seventh wicket partnership of 54 between Steve Ive with 53 and experienced all- rounder Aled Davies with 29 not out. Earlier, Adrian Harries scored 21. Ross Martin followed up his fine innings with a spell of 3 for 10 and Jamie Phelps took 3 for 27. In other Division Two matches, Haverfordwest Seconds passed the Johnston total of 198 for 9 for the loss of two wickets with Andrew Phillips with 92 not out. At Herbrandston, Llanrhian were bundled out for 69 in reply to a Herbrandston total of 174 all out. 

Division Three   When most grounds on Saturday were basking in sunshine, torrential rain caused the game between Whitland Seconds and Camrose and Spittal to be abandoned after 16 overs. At the time, the visitors had scored 53 for 7 with Kim Norkett scoring 22. Shaun Lynch took 3 for 10 and Mathew Webb 2 for 13. In an exciting finish at Cresselly, Cresselly Seconds defeated the visitors Lamphey by six runs. Cresselly Seconds recovered from being 90 for 8 to reach a total of 150 for 9. Openers Rhydian Rees and Scott Arthur scored 27 and 15 respectively, but then the lower order Cresselly batsmen chipped in with Mathew Lewis scoring 25, Sam Harts 24 not out, Richard Arthur 18 and Huw Evans 11 not out. Jason Oatley took 3 for 32, spinner Hywel Gibbs 3 for 46 and Stephen Vale 2 for 26. Lamphey skipper Paul White held the innings together with a solid knock of 39, but the middle order crumbled before Grant Cole and Robin Badham gave the visitors a chance of victory with their ninth wicket partnership of 29 vital runs. Robin Badham fell for 15 and Cole was bowled by Sam Harts with six balls remaining for 29 having hit three sixes and three fours. Sam Harts finished with 3 for 27 and there were two wickets apiece for Jack Murphy, Richard Arthur and Mathew Lewis. Kilgetty had their first win of the season with a three wickets win away to Hundleton who totalled 123 for 8. Jonathan Williams top scored with 50 supported by Morgan Allen with 33 and Nial Smith with 17. Richard Gwyther had an excellent spell of 3 for 18 which helped to turn the game Kilgetty's way. Rob Beynon took 2 for 27 and Richard Prout 2 for 28. Anthony Bevan batting at number seven had a match-winning innings of 54 not out for the visitors, including one six and eight fours. He added 54 in a seventh wicket partnership with Rob Beynon who scored 25 and earlier Richard Gwyther scored 21. The experienced Nigel Arthur took 3 for 30 for Hundleton and Jonathan Williams 2 for 31. League leaders, Stackpole, suffered their first defeat of the season when they were bowled out for 112 replying to a Pembroke Dock total of 135 all out. Julian Edwards scored 38 for the visitors supported by all-rounder John Davies with 37 and skipper Nicky Daley with 28. Andrew Hay took six wickets for Stackpole. Although Huw Cox batted well for his innings of 37, Mohammad Kahn with 4 for 10 and Jason Coles with 3 for 20 won the day for the Dock.   Division Four   Narberth Seconds travelled to Pembroke and totalled 144 all out against Pembroke Dock Seconds. All-rounder David Johns made his first appearance of the season following injury and top scored with 42, supported by his father Mike with 26. Chris Thomas took 6 for 38 and Charlie Allen 3 for 26. Although Hugh Davies scored 33, the home team were bowled out for 94 as experienced spinner Nick Evans took 4 for 33. David Johns followed up his batting to take 3 for 49 and Mathew Davies took 2 for 24. Lawrenny Seconds scored 116 for 9 away to Neyland Seconds. Alun Evans top scored on 26 with a six and three fours, supported by Barry Phillips with 23. Ian Milsom took 4 for 25, Gareth Virgo 2 for 32 and Mark Sutton 2 for 34. Neyland Seconds were struggling at 34 for 3, but an unbroken fourth wicket partnership between Lee Summons with 47 not out and Patrick Bellamy with 34 not out gave the home team a seven wickets win.  Alun Evans took the three wickets to fall at a personal cost of 28 runs. Manorbier were bowled out for 89 at home to Johnston Seconds who won by seven wickets.   Division Five   Whitland Thirds had a comfortable seven wickets win at a dry Llanddewi Velfrey ground over the visitors Llechryd Seconds who were bowled out for 54 despite the efforts of Steve Welch with 19. Barry Rees took 5 for 11.  Although Malcolm McHugh took 2 for 12, Dawood Parker scored 14, Darren Rees 12, young Nico Setaro 11 not out and the experienced Hefin Thomas 10 not out to give the home team the points. On the postage stamp ground at Burton, the visitors Carew Thirds were bowled out for 126.  Opener James Hinchcliffe scored 21, Kerry Waters 22, Rob Whitfield 21 and Mark Hicks 17. Teenager James Cromwell took 3 for 21 for Burton Thirds who were rather incredibly bowled out for just nine after the tea interval. Robert Whitfield had an amazing spell of 8 for 2 and Kerry Waters took 2 for 6. Twelve-year-old Jordan Howell made a valiant effort to hold the Narberth Thirds innings together after the visitors were 61 for 9 chasing a Camrose and Spittal second total of 98 all out. Batting at number nine, he had arrived at the crease in the 14th over and when the ninth wicket fell with the total on 61 he added 32 in a last wicket partnership with Laurence Haetlan before Jordan was dismissed for 33 and the visitors bowled out for 93 to lose by five runs. Dr. Promod took 5 for 8 and David Maddocks 3 for 38. Earlier, Rupert Norman scored 36 in the total of 98 for Camrose and Spittal Seconds as Huw Simpkins took 3 for 18, Mason Lloyd 3 for 25 and Jordan Howell 2 for 8. Cresselly Thirds scored 109 for five at home to Herbrandston seconds who won by two wickets on reaching a total of 113 for 8. For the home team, Steve Davies scored 27 with both Nick Jones and Neil Williams scoring 22 each. All-rounder Mike Williams took 2 for 30 for the visitors.  Johnny Lewis had an attacking innings of 40 and Mike Langdon scored 21 for the visitors. Skipper Phillip James came on at the end of the Herbrandston innings and took 5 for 12 and Steve Davies took 2 for 35. Hook Seconds totalled 87 for 8 to hold on for a draw after the visitors, St. Florence, had scored 122 for 9. Skipper Steve Wilkins opened the batting for the visitors and had an excellent knock of 72 not out with two sixes and five fours. Ben McDonnell scored 17, but no other batsman reached double figures and in fact four failed to score. Jack Briton took 5 for 47 and Mathew Holder 3 for 32. William Gronwy and Samantha Rossiter were the main contributors to the Hook Seconds total with both players reaching 21. Tommy Roberts took 3 for 31 with all wickets falling in one over to put the visitors on top and Ben McDonnell took 2 for 11.   Division Six   Saundersfoot Seconds have retained their leadership of the table after getting the better of a drawn match away to Fishguard Seconds who scored 114 for 7, replying to a Saundersfoot total of 173 for 6. Paul Brooks scored 74 not out for the visitors, including seven fours, supported by Andrew Evans with 34. James Wade took 2 for 12, Ben Watson 2 for 39 and John Deason 2 for 49. When the home team replied, Sam Kurtz top scored with 41 backed up by Ben Watson with 26. Chris Parker had a tight 12 overs spell which yielded 4 for 17 and Grant Hardy took 2 for 21. At Lamphey, the visitors, Llangwm Thirds, had a big win after scoring 160 all out and then bowling out Lamphey Seconds for just 17. The Llangwm total was 160. Hundleton Seconds were bowled out for 83 at St. Davids, replying to a Llanrhian Thirds total of 128 all out.
