Narberth County Councillor, Wynne Evans, has revealed he is to leave his post.
In a statement issued to the Observer this week, Clr. Evans, who represents the town ward on Pembrokeshire County Council, said: "May I take this opportunity of wishing you all a very happy and healthy 2012. It has been a pleasure to serve you as your county councillor for many years, but as I said many months ago, I feel it is time to leave this role and have someone new to represent you.
"I will be leaving office in a matter of weeks, and I'm sure to my many critics, this will seem as Christmas has come twice all in the same week.
"It's been a roller-coaster of a journey over the years, and very eventful to say the least."
