All eyes of the men's county bowls world will be on Pembroke Dock tomorrow (Saturday) for the Pembroke County championship competition finals.
Played on the home green of this year's county president, Arthur Jarvis, who is also competition secretary, the event is sure to see a high standard of bowling and a large number of spectators supporting their clubmates.
Order of play for the finals is as follows:
10 am Open Rinks - Mark Thorpe, Neil Crawford, Marley Hughes and John Lewis (Haverfordwest BC) v John Roberts, John Baggott, Simon Evans and Phil Carpenter (Tenby BC).
11 am Open Triples - Peter Day, Andrew Muskett and Paul Diment (Tenby BC) v Tony Wilks, P.D.S. Jenkins, Richard O'Leary (Haverfordwest BC)
12.30 pm Over 60s Singles - Stewart King-Thomas (Pendine BC) v John Jenkins (Saundersfoot BC).
1.30 pm Under 25s Singles - Ryan Thomas (Haverfordwest BC) v Craig Guymer (Tenby BC).
3 pm Open Singles - John Baggott (Tenby BC) v Phil Carpenter (Tenby BC).
4 pm Under 35s Singles -Jonathan Hubbard (Tenby BC) v Mark Thorpe (Haverfordwest BC); Mixed Pairs - Ysie White and John Roberts (Tenby BC) v Kathy and Dan Jenner (Whitland BC); Over 60s Pairs - Alan Brace and John Jenkins (Saundersfoot BC) v Mike Richards and Marley Hughes (Haverfordwest BC).
6 pm Open Pairs - Andrew Muskett and Phil Carpenter (Tenby BC) v Peter Day and Paul Diment (Tenby BC).
As reported previously, the Under 18s Singles has been played. It was between Ryan Thomas (Haverfordwest BC) and Liam Price (Whitland BC) and was won by Ryan Thomas.
