The countdown to the festive season begins tomorrow (Saturday) at Monkton Community Hall with fun sessions for all the family to get ready for Christmas.

Between 11.30 am and 3.30 pm, there will be an opportunity to make low-cost presents, cards and decorations, create tasty and healthy treats on a budget, learn money-saving tips for Christmas and face painting.

There will be free entry and free food.
