Pembrokeshire County Council have urged local councillors to report any hazards on public paths that may come to their notice.

In a letter brought before Tenby Town Council at their meeting on Tuesday night, county public rights of way officer, David McCabe, reported that as part of the council's ongoing improvement plan, reports on any hazards could help them reduce the risk of any injuries to the public, with barbed wire, unsafe trees, subsidence, and bulls listed as examples of such hazards.

Mr. McCabe also stated that it would be helpful if local surveys were undertaken on hazards, with problems reported on the council's website via their 'web-mapping' system, which could be accessed from 'Maps and Stats' on their home page. Problems can be reported via the 'hazard' symbol.
