Sir, When Brynhir Fields are developed over the next 10 years, a village will be formed with little infrastructure to support it. Six-hundred extra people to queue for the doctors, 300 cars accessing on and off the main road into Tenby. No footpath for people to walk into town, so cars are necessary.
How will the social housing work, who qualifies and will this list be open to out of county?
What price is ‘affordable’, how does this price get calculated? Many questions and no answers have been given.
But, most importantly, with all we now know about Global warming and climate change, it’s hard to believe the very people who should be ensuring our future are the very ones who are letting us and future generations down!
I do hope these councillors are all still in office when the extreme winter storms hit and Brynhir Field is no longer a ‘soak away’. Flooding will not only hit the Bell’s Corner, but the cemetery, Narberth?Road, The Glebe and St. John’s Hill, as it will follow the route to the old well in St. John’s Hill.
Some legacy... I’m sure the first person who cut down their patch to develop in the Rainforest had no idea of the Global consequences, but our councillors really should know better!
Sandra Williams, Tenby
