A meeting of Pembrokeshire County Council's standards committee has found that Manorbier County and Community Councillor, Malcolm Calver, breached Manorbier Community Council's Code of Conduct.

The committee, which met last Friday, resolved that Clr. Calver be censured and also that he be required to attend a training session with the monitoring officer of Pembrokeshire County Council within three months.

It also hoped that he would consider carefully the language he uses on his website.

The committee also considered that it would be useful if members of the community council receive a joint training session with the monitoring officer within three months and hoped that it would operate in a more cohesive manner in future.

Pembrokeshire County Council's standards committee is made up of three independent members of the community - one of whom chairs the committee - two county councillors and a representative of the community councils.
