Following a hearing, Pembrokeshire County Council's standards committee has agreed to formally censure a local councillor who failed to follow the council's code of conduct by not declaring a personal interest when commenting on an issue relating to the application of a friend.
An investigation by the public services ombudsman for Wales was conducted after an allegation was made against Narberth County Councillor Wynne Evans when he spoke in favour of a tourist development at Herons Brook at a meeting back in February of last year.
The committee has insisted that Clr. Evans attends a top-up session on the code of conduct as a result of the breach.
