Councillors in Tenby have called for an urgent meeting with Pembrokeshire County Council’s head of environment and civil contingencies, so that they can discuss ‘grounds maintenance’ matters for the town.

Speaking at Wednesday night’s meeting of Tenby Town Council, Clr. Mrs, Christine Brown told her colleagues that they needed to hold a meeting this month, otherwise it would prove a hindrance when it came to them setting out their precept budget.

“If Richard Brown, the county council’s head of environment and civil contingencies, won’t answer our correspondence, then we need to talk to someone superior, as we need to set out what the maintenance costs are going to be,” she said.

“We need to know what PCC are or aren’t going to give us, and we need it firmed up so we don’t slip up when setting out our budget way before December,” added Clr. Mrs. Brown.
