Tenby councillors want to see the town's Tourist Information Centre relocated to a more prominent area in the town.
The TIC is currently situated in Lower Park Road at the Somerfield complex, but councillors believe that it should be situated more centrally to encourage more visitors.
"At the moment I don't think the Information Centre is based at what you would refer to as a gateway to the town," said Clr. mike Evans at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council.
"It is such an important facility for visitors to Tenby and I think it's time that a more prestigious place was found to situate it," he commented.
Councillors agreed to write to Pembrokeshire County Council to see what plans were in the pipeline to relocate the TIC.
