Complaints were made this week about rubbish being left around the War Memorial in Narberth.
A letter received from the town's Royal British Legion branch was read at the monthly meeting of the town council on Tuesday night concerning the amount of black bags that were continually left around the monument.
As a result, councillors agreed to write to Pembrokeshire County Council asking them to contact people living at the nearby properties regarding the matter.
