With draft proposal consultations having taken place on the first stage of the periodic electoral review of community councils, Tenby town councillors are to inform Pembrokeshire County Council that they are happy with the recommendations drawn up. Councillors discussed the matter at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council, after receiving correspondence from the county council on the draft proposals. Clr. Mrs. Caroline Thomas agreed with her colleagues that they were happy with the boundary changes to the ward area, while Mayor, Clr. John Griffiths, felt that it was with regret that they would accept the reduction of the number of councillors in the community from 13 to 11, as it was only logical. Councillors will now forward their comments to the county council.
