Tenby councillors have given their backing to an application to convert another of the town's beachside cafés into six holiday residential apartments.
The plans, submitted to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority by Mr. Joe Taylor, of Ragged Staff, Saundersfoot, are for a change of use of the North Beach Café from business premises to business and apartments for tourists.
At Tuesday night's meeting of the town council, members gave their approval to the plans, subject to a condition that the developers and planning officers look into introducing waste storage facilities for the scheme.
The application is due to be discussed at the next meeting of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority's development management committee later this month.
Footnote: Work is currently progressing on the development of apartments and a cafe-restaurant on the former Fountains Café site on South Beach.
