Last Friday saw the 1001 Knockout take place at the RFC. And with 17 out of 19 teams turning up, it was a good turnout. However, the Plash and Farmers will now be deducted one point at the end of the season as the rules state.
First round shocks saw the Glandy Cross beat the Stanley Arms A and the Alpha beating the Angel Narberth A. However, in the end, the semi-finals saw an all A League affair, with the Taf winners over the Ivy Bush and the RAOB A over Lawrenny Sports .
The final will now be played on May 1 (Finals Night).
Just a couple of 180s were hit on the night, by Kim Llewellyn (Taf) and Jason Nicholas (RAOB A).
Tonight (Friday) sees the league fixtures start up again.
