The Pembrokeshire group, of Côr Meibion de Cymru, (The South Wales Male Choir) based at Bloomfield Community Centre, Narberth, will restart their Wednesday rehearsals from November 5. Rehearsals commence at 7.30 pm and finish at 9.30 pm. Anyone who enjoys singing and would like to be involved with a large choir will be made very welcome. It is not necessary to read music.
In 2009, the choir will perform at concerts in York Minster, Winchester Cathedral and at St. David's Cathedral. The choir will also be at the Millennium Centre, Cardiff, and Fishguard.
Members are spread across West and South Wales and also exiles from Bristol, Oxfordshire and Southampton. They meet at group centres and once a month the choir rehearses together at Cwmafon, near Port Talbot.
