Congratulatons to Gladys Gray, who celebrated her 100th birthday yesterday (Thursday) in Tenby.

Born near Risca, Gladys moved to Tenby in 1961 and lived with her late husband Bill Gray at Robins Croft in Heywood Lane.

A founder member of the ladies' section at Tenby Bowling Club, she is a life member.

As well as receiving a plethora of birthday cards, including one from the Queen, a party was held at St. Johns Church to celebrate Gladys's landmark birthday.

Gladys is pictured at Belvedere Residential Home, where she now resides, with Mayor of Tenby, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, who presented her with a bouquet of flowers and a certificate of congratulations from Tenby Town Council.
