Tenby Scout and Guide Hall has received a welcome donation from Tenby Round Table.
Tenby Scout and Guide Hall located on Warren Street is an important asset to the movement in the town and those involved are lucky to have thriving Brownie, Guide and Ranger Units making good use of the Hall and all it offers.
However, nothing lasts for ever and the well-used table in the kitchen was very definitely on its last legs.
However, the culinary efforts of the girls and leaders can surely reach new heights with the presentation of a splendid new table by the members of Tenby Round Table.
The small committee which runs the Hall comprises members of Lower Landsker Trefoil Guild and Guide leaders, and they would all like to express their gratitude to the Round Table members, two of whom came along to the Hall to make the presentation.
Members of the committee are saddened by the fact that there are no Cubs and Scouts in the town to share in this lovely Hall but live in hope that, one day, leaders will come forward to re-open these once flourishing units.
