THE Tenby Project is supporting woman's health with the support of PAVS.

As one of the project’s volunteers has a woman's health condition called endometriosis, Tenby Project has reached out to the charity and helpline.

Endometriosis is a condition affecting one in 10 women that sometimes can be very painful.

The Tenby Project will be a part of endometriosis workplace environment - with stickers and a workplace pack for everyone to read. Then in September they plan to invite a speaker to talk to the project about how how to manage endometriosis and help other women suffering from the condition.

Tenby Project volunteer Lauren Smith said: “A massive thank you to Anne [Draper] for the amazing support she has given me to make this happen.

“Anne has been so incredibly supportive and I can't be more grateful for being able to connect with her and other community projects.

“As a sufferer of this condition and for many others out there who has been struggling with the condition endometriosis, it can affect your daily life. If we can help others who feel alone then we can all be there for each other.”

The Tenby Project is a community group in Tenby, run by and for adults with learning disabilities. It helps members build confidence, learn new skills, and connect with others through regular social meet-ups, craft workshops, and sports activities.

The Tenby Project invites everyone to the Augustus Place Community Hall in Tenby for their weekly 10.30am coffee morning with the aim of making new connections.

After the coffee morning, members go on to share lunch and then in the afternoon they participate in activities, sports, craft workshops, enjoy a talk or story from a visiting speaker.

The Tenby Project CIC aims to encourage community involvement and personal development for its members. All are welcome, especially those who have learning difficulties.
