CEGIN Gareth, Lampeter, was the destination for Summerhill Wi’s annual outing. A marvellous day was had by the 19 ladies who attended.

Following a welcome coffee and homemade Welsh cakes, the morning was taken up with a thoroughly entertaining cooking demonstration by Gareth which produced the day’s lunch menu along with afternoon tea.

After breaking for an excellent three-course lunch, the ladies were treated to an afternoon of flower arranging with the resulting items being available for a raffle.

The day was rounded off with an exceptional afternoon tea of salmon mousse and assorted cakes.

The next meeting will be at Amroth Parish Hall, Summerhill on Monday, May 9 at 7pm when Frank Ferrer will talk about the work of FRAME, with the hostesses to be Margaret J, Flis and Hilary.
