SAUNDERSFOOT Rotary’s final Hog Roast of the year proved to be a fantastic success.
The event continued with the popular cinematic theme on August 23, this time with ‘The Sound of Hogs’. By 2.30pm they had sold out of their delicious hog roast, which was expertly cooked and served on the Saundersfoot Harbour Decking by Tom Rees of Narberth butchers Andrew Rees and Sons.
Once again, the Slipway Ukes provided entertainment and kept the crowds dancing.
A spokesman for Saundersfoot Rotary said: “A huge thank you to everyone who supported us today, and indeed throughout all of our hog roasts this summer. Your support has made a real difference, helping us raise valuable funds for local charities, community groups, and organisations supporting people with disabilities.
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who came along, enjoyed the food, and helped make this year’s events such a tremendous success. Thank you for supporting your local community and Saundersfoot Rotary.”
