WITH four-and-a-half tables in play on June 8, Penally Bridge Club welcomed back its director, Alan, after his month away in France.

Having proved his prowess there as a fisherman by landing a 79lb carp, Alan soared to the top of the rankings with partner Brenda, making the only slam and scoring 63.49%, well ahead of second-placed Lucy & Barry with 56.35%

With the holiday season now upon us, the club members welcome any visiting players with their partners to join them on a Monday afternoon in the Village Hall at Penally, near Tenby.
