MEMBERS of Manorbier Gardening Club enjoyed an entertaining talk about Japan by Mike and Yoriko at the March meeting.

Mike showed some fascinating pictures and videos depicting Japanese life, including gardens and temples.

The next meeting is on Wednesday April 15, 7.30pm at the Giraldus Centre in Manorbier, when Peni Ediker, an expert in permaculture and sustainable horticulture, will be giving a talk about the Wales Seed Hub and the importance of local seed. Peni will also bring a seed stall for anyone wanting to do some last minute sowing.

Refreshments will be available, along with the raffle, plants for sale and free gardening magazines.

Club members love to share tips and advice on gardening and there is a ‘Jobs for the Month’ board. So if you are a beginner who simply loves flowers, or a seasoned gardener who likes growing fruit and vegetables, there is always something new to learn.

Garden and wildlife enthusiasts from near or far and any age are welcome to come along to this friendly club.

The annual subscription is £15; alternatively, visitors are asked to pay a small admission fee of £3.
