CAN anyone help one of our readers as he traces his family history to a Tenby tobacconist in Victorian times?
Martin Jones writes: “In 1871 my great great grandad Alfred Jones was living with his uncle who owned the tobacconist at number 12, High Street Tenby.
“If anyone has any information or better still photos, I would love to know more. I’m hoping to visit in the near future so any help would be appreciated.”
12 High Street is the address of the former TP Hughes department store (latterly M&Co) which today forms part of the plan for a luxury spa hotel, restaurant and café development.
If you can help Martin, contact [email protected] and we will pass your information on.
