COSHESTON will be commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day with a history exhibition, refreshments, lighting of the beacon and a memorial service.

A history exhibition will be open to view at St Michael and All Angels Church, Cosheston on Thursday, May 8, 10.30am-4.30pm; refreshments will be available.

On Thursday evening, at 9pm, there will be the lighting of the beacon at Cosheston Cross and a short memorial service.

The history exhibition will also be on view at the church on Friday and Saturday, 10.30am-4.30pm and will remain on display in church on Sunday, May 11.
