ANGLE Ladies’ Tit Club recently held their third annual afternoon tea in memory of their friend Judith and again surpassed the amount raised in previous years for Breast Cancer Now.

The club raised £2,256 for the charity at its inaugural event, following up with £2,700 in 2025. This year’s record-breaking total topped that by more than £700.

Previous events had been held in the village hall, but for this year’s event the club was kindly given free use of the Cedar Barn in St Twynells by Claire and Matthew. This gave them far more room and also those attending could enjoy some of the pink drinks on offer from the bar.

A fun game of “pin the boob on the babe” was arranged by Joy and Gerald while Rhys and Becky provided excellent entertainment. Local businesses were very generous in donating raffle prizes and this raised a huge amount.

The fantastic sum of £3,445 was raised in total and this was presented to Sheila Ralph local volunteer for the charity. Breast Cancer Now not only carries out research into the disease but also supports everyone going through treatment and beyond.

Julie, Jan, Jude and Jayne were the hard working members of the Tit Club who arranged this magnificent event enjoyed by all. They were ably assisted by Kath, Annette, Joanne, Shania, Kay, Lisa, Kim, Ceri, Ashleigh, Ellie, Alex, Rhys, Becky, Mia, Mary, Annette(2), Demi, Jo, Paul, Joy and Gerald to whom they are extremely grateful.

“Will there be another one next year?” asks Sheila, “We’ll wait and see.”
