At the start of half-term, the Regency Hall was the venue for the second Community Fayre sponsored by the United Churches of Saundersfoot. Local crafters, charities, societies and small family businesses created attractive displays with an amazing array of goods to entice shoppers.

The Guide Dogs 'name the teddy' competition was popular with all ages, as were other competitions run by stall-holders.

The cakes and preserves stall run by Mrs. Gladys Cleevely and Mrs. Gwyneth Jenkins was very popular, as were the beautiful vegetables on display by Green Meadows.

St. Issell's WI had gift-wrapped toiletries for early Christmas shoppers and Saundersfoot WI had reasonably priced homeware items.

Many of the crafts, too numerous to mention, were all skilfully created to give lasting pleasure to the purchasers.

The refreshements were provided by the United Churches and the profit made will be going to support community projects.
