There will be a Community Development Forum Event at the Haverfordwest Cricket Club on Thursday, April 1, from 9.45 am until 3 pm including lunch.

The forum event hosted by Pembrokeshire College, in conjunction with Pembrokeshire County Council, PAVS, PLANED and the Princes Trust, is an information sharing and networking opportunity for community activists, voluntary workers and paid staff engaged in community development work in Pembrokeshire

Representatives from Pembrokeshire County Council Community Regeneration Unit, PAVS, PLANED, Princes Trust and Pembrokeshire College will be providing brief presentations relating to the types of support they can offer to community and voluntary groups to promote sustainable development. These presentations will allow opportunities for questions and answers.

A range of other organisations, including Age Concern, West Wales Action for Mental Health, Pembrokeshire Community Workers Network, Men's Alliance Network, Global Connections, Keep Wales Tidy and West Wales Eco Centre will be running information stalls.

The event is offered with the financial support of the European Social Fund and bookings from people working voluntarily in community development in Pembrokeshire will be given priority.
