Community sports clubs in Pembrokeshire have benefited from the latest round of funding announced by the Pembrokeshire SPORTLOT Community Chest grants panel.

The panel has awarded grants totalling £22,311 to 23 clubs across 11 different sports.

The funds will go towards a variety of uses, including training club volunteers and buying extra items of equipment.

The Community Chest grants focus on increasing participation in community sport and improving standards.

They are administered through Sport Pembrokeshire - Pembrokeshire County Council’s sports development team.

The panel meets five times a year and the next closing date for applications is Monday, January 15.
